Paytm now lets you send money on special occasions with ‘Postcards’
Paytm has rolled out ‘Paytm Postcards’ – a digital way of sending money to loved ones in an envelope on festivals. Paytm launched this feature on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan so that its users could gift money to each other in a cashless way.
Paytm Postcards can be customised according to different occasions and users can write messages on them before they send money to each other. But both the sender and receiver must be a Paytm user in order to use this new feature.

Paytm Postcards can prove themselves to be useful on occasions like Raksha Bandhan, Pongal, Onam, Ganesh Chaturthi, Durga Puja, Diwali and others. Even in cases where corporates are offering money to its employees as a reward, Paytm Postcards can be used.

Speaking of the launch of Paytm’s new feature, Deepak Abbot, senior vice president of the company said, “Individuals from all walks of life including army men, traders and daily wage workers living away from home prefer sending money to their loved ones using our platform. With Paytm Postcards, users will now be able to add an emotional touch to their gifts and spread the joy during special occasions and festivities.”

Recently, Paytm also announced a new feature that allows users with Android devices to send money to their contacts directly via their smartphone’s phonebook.
